Ongoing industrial roofing repairs in Plymouth

The TRS team are hard at work on roofing repairs across the South West. We recently finished a project to strip and renew the roofing at Clyst Vale Community College near Exeter, Devon, which you can read about in our new case study.

Currently, we are hard at work in Plymouth on a challenging warehouse roofing project. TRS secured the industrial roofing repairs contract at Willow and Holly Court in Plymouth, Devon, in September 2018. We were commissioned to remove the bonded asbestos cement roofs from four large industrial buildings and replace them with insulated metal panels for Plymouth City Council.

With work beginning in November, this project has proved very demanding – our team has been working on a busy industrial estate, replacing the roofing whilst the occupants still work below. The end is now in sight and the project has been successful thanks in no small part to our Site Manager, Chris Smith, who has liaised with Plymouth City Council and warehouse occupants with tact and skill.

Councillor Karen Renshaw said, “Chris has been a vital asset to the project and has done a great job of keeping tenants up to date with works, as well as keeping two difficult sites on an even keel.”
