Worth the wait – Flat roof repair for the historic Bristol Odeon cinema!

Back in 2015, we were asked to take a look at the roof of the Odeon Cinema in Union Street, Bristol.

The Odeon has withstood a World War, undergone three major revamps, and is one of the most iconic monuments in central Bristol – so we wanted to make sure we gave our very best care and attention to the building, and completed the job to our highest standards.

We carried out roof renewal to the main circular entrance roof of the three-screen Dolby Surround cinema, being careful not to cause disturbance to visitors. After a successful completion of the project, we were invited back a year later to replace all roofs of the complex. However, due to the client’s concerns of interrupting the cinema screening schedules, the project was put on hold for one year.

Having satisfied all of the client’s concerns, we started the flat roof repair 18 months later – finishing the job in January 2018.

After an intense period of work on the cinema, we completed the project on time and with limited disruption to cinema audiences – which was our main goal.
