Industrial gutter services for Vygon, Swindon

This industrial gutter services contract was for a refurbished office site with quite an interesting history; The old Motorola building in Swindon was opened by the Queen in 1998. It made a brief appearance in the 1999 James Bond film “The World is Not Enough”.

The French company Vygon has completely refurbished part of the site into training suites, which will be used by staff from across the world. Vygon is also using the building to expand its UK operations.

The job included extensive lining and parapet capping, using Garland UK’s new fast-curing product, Dura‑Coat. The Dura-Coat Liquid System is a very fast curing and elastic waterproofing system that can be applied at very low temperatures, as low as 0°C, which is perfectly suited to jobs like these, carried out during a typical British winter. The system holds outstanding performance characteristics and allows rapid curing in as little as 30 minutes.
